I am such a hopeless romantic you guys like seriously! Summer time is my favorite time for dating because there are so many things you can do! There should never be a reason to be cooped up in the house with your boo this summer. Dating doesn't have to be expensive, there is a range of fun things you can do on a budget! So I am going to help all you love birds by throwing out some of my favorite romantic date ideas for those hot summer days and sizzling summer nights!




Drive In Movies

Yes I took it back, surely did! Whats more classic than the drive in!? Not only is it lower in cost than the traditional movies now a days but you can also bring your own food and drinks! I don't know about you but I love me some Chinese food! So give me some hunan shrimp and a "Jamaica Me Happy" Smirnoff and you totally would get brownie points! On top of that it is more intimate and you can usually catch two movies back to back for the price of one movie! For my Atlanta readers there is "Starlight Drive In Movies"

Ferris Wheel / Amusement Parks

What is more romantic then laughing and being spontaneous by going to a theme park!? Be young again, hold hands and sit tight while you holler at the top of your lungs on a steep drop down ride. Or maybe a romantic date night on a Ferris wheel. Most major cities like Washington DC (National Harbor), Santa Monica (Pier) and Atlanta GA (Centennial Park) have packages on groupon for Ferris wheels that sometimes include boxes of chocolates, discounts or VIP specials so its worth checking 
out!



Ice Cream in the Park

Nothing is more classic than the good ole walk in the park. This is particularly good for first dates because you're in mutual territory and it gives you the chance to really engage with one another. Walk and talk, find out each others favorite colors, food, ticks and pet peeves. If all goes well maybe you'll get to lick some ice cream off your dates lips. Opps did i say that?!

Beach or Lake Day

Why not pack up a picnic basket, some towels, drinks and have a day at the beach or lake!? It's like a mini get away; have a little road trip, blast your favorite music, talk about life and goals with the windows down, just enjoying the ride! There's nothing better than quality time away from all the hustle and bustle of work, family and friends. And whats better than seeing your boo thang half naked, splashing around in the water. Oww Oww!




Horseback Riding

Okay come on now how freakin' romantic is couples horseback riding!? Disclosure: I am reaching here because I have never personally done this myself but hey! I am a hopeless romantic so a girl can dream right? But just imagine learning a new skill together, doing something different and outside the norm than the typical dinner and movie date. I ALWAYS see Groupons for this all the time so just check on your city and find a range near you! Ride off into the sunset with your boo!

Baseball Games

Home Runnnnnnnn!  I go for the food and the beer personally BUT watching a game with your boo, showing some team spirit and live entertainment. Make it more entertaining by placing bets on different teams ... make the stakes high tho! Wink Wink

Bye Bye Summer....Hello Fall!

I am soooo happy that Summer is coming to and end! Don't get me wrong I love sunny days, cook outs, pools, picnics, theme parks etc but BUMP THAT I am ready to dress my butt off for the fall! A lot of naive people think that barely wearing any clothes is sexy...well let me tell you! There is nothing sexier than a woman that knows how to dress! And that is confident! It takes a creative type of women to layer and combine colors you wouldn't even think match but compliment each other very well!  I love love love wearing blazers, boots, hats, leg warmers, cardigans, jeans, leather leggings ugh I am drooling as I type this!!
